Derrière Diary: Tiffany Edition Week 3


Every day we witness the incredible transformations our clients go through. These untold stories continually inspire us to keep doing what we love. We realized, if these stories inspired us then imagine what it would do for our community!

So we started the Derriére Diary, a series of stories that aim to motivate those looking to reach their own goals and challenges. The same ones our clients go through every day. 

But to start off we needed a strong voice. A fixture in our local community who’s brave enough to put their goals and progress on display in real time, for the world to see. So we invited the beautiful Tiffany Pinero to share her fitness journey.

Week 3: June 29th - July 5th


Oh boy! Last week was hard again with the eating because we were on vacation. I am weak and indulgences were everywhere. I compromised and had two cheat days so that I wasn’t constantly stressed about my food intake.

I also checked in with Tamara and she gave me some good advice on how to curb cravings. She set me up with some amazing and easy recipes to get me on track for the week ahead. {Photos to come!} She harped on me to drink water with lemon first thing in the morning and I found this not only to be great for my body but it also gave me a few minutes to set my intentions for the day. I am enjoying this as a “5 minutes of calm” before the storm.

Working out was my favorite part of the week, it was where I felt in control. Being on a trip where I was in swimwear most of the time made me accountable. Lauren had given me a take home workout that was seriously tough! I had fun doing it on the grass while my dog watched me. I tried to do it with minimal breaks to really challenge myself. There was also a low fence around the yard and I did some glute moves I had learned in Amber’s Open Barre. I used one of my nephew’s toys to replace the purple ball we use in class. Score! ;)

Coming Up

I feel like the week ahead will be my best yet. I am very motivated to see some definition, I can feel it creeping to the surface.
